Lewisham Local Directory Event

Yesterday, DCWUK had the pleasure of attending the Lewisham Local gathering, represented by myself, Jazmine Cox (Founder), and our Operations & Innovation Trustee, Gillian Benneh.

It was inspiring to hear about all the incredible work happening across the Lewisham borough. Lewisham Local continues to be an invaluable resource and online platform for volunteers and community organisations — truly strengthening how we connect and support our communities.

We were especially excited to learn about the Fundraising Plus initiative and to speak with so many passionate community members about future collaboration. Another amazing resource is the Lewisham Wellbeing Map the brainchild of Tim Bradley - do check it out! 

With programmes like Smart Tech for Seniors, and others we deliver, we’re looking forward to exploring potential partnerships that help empower vulnerable groups and widen access to digital skills.
