Who We Are
DCWUK is a registered CIC (16117427) empowering people to build confidence, independence, and opportunity through education, digital inclusion, and the arts.

Our story begins in New Zealand in 2014 where for the last 11 years we provided community services such as education, well-being and arts programmes with accessibility and compassion at our core.

We are now proud to expand our operations to the UK as a not-for-profit organisation, excited to partner, collaborate and make a difference.

Our Mission
DCWUK was founded in 2024 with a clear mission: to empower people to build confidence, independence, and opportunity through education, digital inclusion, and the arts.

Our dedicated team is driven by compassion, equality, and the belief that every individual deserves access to basic necessities.
We strive to create safe, inclusive spaces where people are empowered to grow, learn, and unlock their full potential.

At DCWUK, we know that real change happens when communities come together. Whether you’re a volunteer, donor, or advocate, your involvement plays a vital role in helping us reach those who need it most.

Together, we can build a world where opportunity, dignity, and hope are within everyone’s reach.

Dream it. Do it. Make a Difference.
How it started
DreamCatchers WorldWide began as a grassroots initiative in Auckland, New Zealand in 2014, led by Jazmine Cox, an educator and artist from London, UK, who recognised the transformative power of creative education. Since then, we have:

-
Facilitated TED-Ed Clubs, academic support, youth performance training, and mentoring workshops
-
Received arts recognition, including the Wallace Arts Trust Emerging Production Award (2016)
-
Hosted Feed4All annual events from 2015-2020 providing support for the homeless and volunteering opportunities for over 700+ people
-
Collaborated with local councils, foundations, and creative hubs across Aotearoa, New Zealand

In 2024, the UK branch— DCWUK—was formally established as a Community Interest Company, to continue this work and adapt it to the needs of communities in Lewisham and southeast London, UK. Jazmine was recently interviewed by UCL, where she also volunteers as part of the MBA Group Mentorship programme. Read more about it here.
We now stand strong at a 13-person board of trustees which represent our diverse and multicultural demographic.
